60's fever and new things!

I've seen A Single Man and now I and totally into 60's style again. The movie is great for many reasons but a big reason is the styling. So I've been walking around with outrageous Twiggy like make up and trying to get my hair as high as I can. The last thing kind of failed, used to be really good at it but it didn't really work.

Today I also went to the Primark with my mom. Yes 'going to the Primark' is a 'thing' because we don't have one in Amsterdam but there is one in Zaandam. Zaandam is a small city close to Amsterdam. Everything about it is horrible. The way they talk over there, the way the city looks, the way the people look (everybody seems to be ugly...kind of strange). BUT they have Primark. So me and my mom were going by train and I thought I was stressy and panicy (not a word) with public transport..my mom is 10 times worse. Anyways, we got there, spent 3 hours(!!!!????) inside and got home safely. This is what I got for 25 euro's(!!!!????)

Also finally got to get something from my Inglot giftcard I got for my birthday from my lovely colleagues.

The things you see in the blurry picture are highlighter and blush. Right now I am kind of wainting for my lover to come home from band practice. Cleaned my creepers. They were super dirty from a concert but I think I got them quite clean. They're still drying though. I ALMOST FORGET TO TELL THAT BORIS AND I BOOKED A TRIP TO BERLIN!!! We are going in June and I love it. I've been missing that city!!! Good night people or good morning to people who live in different time zone's and stuff! xxx

Sick day

Although I had a wonderful day Sunday (went inside an art academy for the first time), in the evening I was not feeling well at all. Still wasn't feeling well the next morning so I took a day off. At one point of the day I had to get some breakfast and had to go outside. I decided to dress up a bit and it made me feel a thousand times better. This is what I was wearing:

You can see from my face that it wasn't the best day for me. Flamingo dress

Just came home from 10 hours of work and I am exhausted.
Probably going to bed in a bit and read a BOOK.

Yesterday evening I kind of did the the same; reading, drinking tea, listening to JAZZ.
Of course this was followed by smoking joints (haha I can say this cuz I iz dutch) and drinking an entire bottle of wine with Lieselot and her boyfriend Thom.

I just bought the most amazing dress evahr, although I'm out of money I bought it anyway.


Yes, dress with flamingo's and a whole landscape on it. DOES LIFE GET ANY BETTER?! I hope so.
I will probably sometime post a picture while I'm wearing it. In this picture it looks a bit like a potato bag but it actually fits really well.

I´ve missed you more

Last post was the 20th of Febuary and I hate it!
I really liked beeing a ´fashion blogger´ kinda thingy. It was really a great hobby.

I´m really trying to bring it back to life.
I now have a sort of computer (netbook with half of the screen working) so that´s a start.

For the first time in aaaageesss I posted something on donlookbook.

A lot has happened, not much had changed.

I could tell you all about my amazing birthday party, but I think I won´t.

One thing I am definitly excited about is that I´m going to a soccer game this sunday.
I never cared to much about soccer until I realised it´s about beeing proud of where you´re from.
I HATE the Netherlands but I LOVE Amsterdam! So now I am supporting AJAX.
It´s the firt time I´m going to a match and I´m going hardcore because a colegue of mine (Joy) has been in the F side (the group of die hard hooligans of Ajax) for 8 years so she can take people and she´s taking me!

Still listening to Lana del Rey all the time, still doesn´t bore me.

This how my face is looking right now and I´m wearing a vintage 50/60´s flowered top, pencil skirt and glitter shoes by dune, but the last 2 things you can´t see.
Looking a bit tired. I haven´t been having the healthiest lifestyle lately.

It's 4:36 in the morning.
Had a nice day at work and after that I watched soccer (of football or whatever you like to call it) with my colleges. I never knew I liked the sport that much.

After that I went out with my girlfriends and even a girlfriend who was not my girlfriend for a long time but actually had a lot of fun with her.
After a while we clearly had enough beer and went home.
Then I made pasta with Lot (super only add water and boil for 6 minutes pasta) and we talked a lot about stuff. We used to do that a lot. Staying up until 6 talking way too dramatic about stupid people and stupid things. Alcohol is the devil, or whatever.

Lot went to bed and I stayed up because I felt like listening to the Smiths looking like this:



I could stay up until Boris comes home from work, but that's just pointless.

I love nighttime.

Again Saturday night

I really used to love the weekend.
Now I don' t really care about it anymore.
Friday nights my sweet Boris usually tries to take me out, I won' t go, whine a LOT and it ends up in a fight. Drama crying fighting etc.
Then the Saturday nights usually are me on my own sitting behind the computer. I kind of enjoy it though. I don' t even have a computer and I get a but of extra night rest.
This evening I' m a bit disappointed though. I thought I was going to have a really long night wiv mah gurlz. One of them was tired and the other one got a text from her parents if she was coming home. In parent language that obviously means ' come home right now.

If it wasn't like minus 18 degrees outside I would go out.

I' m in love with my Cruella hair! I can be blonde or dark or both whenever I want. It' s great for up do' s.



I' m a bit anxious lately 'cause me and my friend Lot got robbed last monday evening. It was super scary and now I just realize things like that can happen like all the time. Maybe paranoid is a better word than anxious. It will pass though.
Still feeling a lot better than I did around new year' s.

Having a bit of trouble with Boris though.
I don' t know, we fight a lot and sometimes it get' s worse and sometimes it gets better. Still I don' t worry too much.. I'm not saying it doesn't bother me but I have this feeling that we love each other so much that it wil blow over and it doesn't matter anymore.
I think that if we break or something we will be automatically be drawn back together. Maybe it' s naive but that' s the way it feels.

Been listening Lana Del Rey' s album Born To Die the whole evening. Not all the songs are good but I like the whole sound of the album. Probably the closest to 'hip hop' I' ll ever come.

I think to much on nights like this. And then I start writing..

Also want to tell you about my 'countryside urge'.
I' m a real city girl but lately I have an urge to get out of the city. To have nothing to do (nothing to drink). Just peace and quiet. I am old...
At the same time I am dying to go back to Berlin.
I think I' m mostly longing to spend some quality time with Boris. Real time. Not between work and sleeping time.

And now I'm done. Wrote down things I had on my chest, and it feels nice.

Boris, if you ever read this.. I love you to death and you' re my everything and I really wish I could show you more of that.
