Sunday without a hangover

Every sunday I wake up with a HUGE hangover. This week was different. Although I drank a decent amount of beer and a cocktail and my head was on my pillow 5 o'clock in the morning, I was fine. Layla and me actually got ourselves out of the house and went to the American Apparel flea market. I had never bought anything at AA because I think it's overrated and expensive but the sign said up to 90% off so we wanted to take a look. I got myself a pink satin jacket, something I suddenly remembered I always wanted. I feel very pink lady like in it. It cost me 18,-. Also got a lilac polo shirt that isn' t to interesting, but hey it was only 8,- (instead of 32!!!)

After that I had dinner with my mom at a restaurant called Envy. We had dinner there before and it was great, just like this time. The food was so good and the people who worked there really nice, the host even recognized us from the last time, which was February. I spammed instagram with FOOD PHOTOS!

Lookbook/blog rebirth

I got my mum her Iphone, so I have a device that can make photo' s again. This means I can post on Lookbook again and the thing is also very handy to keep up more with my blog.

The wall I am standing in front of is the wall of the house I am staying right now.

I am staying at my good friend Layla for 1 or 2 moths because finding a house in Amsterdam is IMPOSSIBLE.

So it' s quite a strange time for me now, I am sort of homeless. All my stuff (and clothes!!!) is in a rented storage and I am sleeping in a room with no door.

I am not complaining because I think it' s really nice of Layla to let me stay with her and it's also a lot of fun to have dinner together and drink tea but it' s not permanent.

I really have to find something soon, but right now I feel like it' s not happening.

BUT I am not the most positive person in the world so maybe I'm over exaggerating the whole situation, I hope.

Anyways all my non existing readers, I will be bothering you again A LOT!

Mummy' s hair

My mum has had red hair for over 10 years I thinks and I don' t even remember her having something else. She had many shades but (I thinks every person who ever had red hair knows this) the color is so hard to maintain! Especially when you have grey hair hihi. So for the first time I was in charge of my mum's color and I am very proud of the result. The more often you dye red hair the 'browner' and (the most annoying thing) darker it gets. So I lightly bleached the lengths and filled them in with some bright colors by Directions (tangerine, cerise, rubine and plum). The bright colors will make sure that the base color can always have a nice lively glow. Also blow dried it straight...That was hard though. I need a lot of practice with that.  Some bad quality photos yaaay:

50' s Sweetness and Romance

Leopard b0i

Quite a while ago I got my bone tattoo and the guy who gave it to me wanted to have leopard print hair in return. We both kind of forgot about it but yesterday evening we finally did it.
It was the first time I did something like this but it actually turned out great!

Yesterday we also did a shoot with the whole Kinki team. This time didn't have to prepare any models, but we we're models ourselves.
It was for a promotion thing for Kinki, the pictures get printed on posters and will hang in the neighborhood close to the salon.
We all dressed like our selves and did our own hair and make up.
The look I chose for was kind of  pin-up meets street girl. I was really pleased with it at the end and I can't wait until we get the pictures although we won't get it until September.

Tropical Thangs

It's pouring outside (at least here in Amsterdam) and right now it feels like summer is never going to come. The only thing tropical about it is that it is raining all the time.
Some pictures to look at and dream of summer, tropical paradise islands, tropical DRINKS and ofcourse fashion ( No more sweaters and tights and closed toe shoes! Bare legs, arms and toes yeah?!)
