Mummy' s hair

My mum has had red hair for over 10 years I thinks and I don' t even remember her having something else. She had many shades but (I thinks every person who ever had red hair knows this) the color is so hard to maintain! Especially when you have grey hair hihi. So for the first time I was in charge of my mum's color and I am very proud of the result. The more often you dye red hair the 'browner' and (the most annoying thing) darker it gets. So I lightly bleached the lengths and filled them in with some bright colors by Directions (tangerine, cerise, rubine and plum). The bright colors will make sure that the base color can always have a nice lively glow. Also blow dried it straight...That was hard though. I need a lot of practice with that.  Some bad quality photos yaaay:

Leopard b0i

Quite a while ago I got my bone tattoo and the guy who gave it to me wanted to have leopard print hair in return. We both kind of forgot about it but yesterday evening we finally did it.
It was the first time I did something like this but it actually turned out great!

Yesterday we also did a shoot with the whole Kinki team. This time didn't have to prepare any models, but we we're models ourselves.
It was for a promotion thing for Kinki, the pictures get printed on posters and will hang in the neighborhood close to the salon.
We all dressed like our selves and did our own hair and make up.
The look I chose for was kind of  pin-up meets street girl. I was really pleased with it at the end and I can't wait until we get the pictures although we won't get it until September.

Fotoshoot sneak peak!

Hellooo!

 If I would be posting more I would have told you all that we (kinki Overtoom aka the salon where I work) had organised a photoshoot. We all had to prepare a model and then a professional photographer (Piet Oosterbeek) would take pictures so we would have a nice image of our creations. I

t was very exhausting but a lot of fun and I am very proud of myself and of my collegues. I can' t wait to have the pictures. Here is a sneak peak!

This whole weekend was great actually. Friday I went to a party with Boris and we danced to dirrrrty music. I will probably go to the party more often (which is every once in a while) because the time before this time was also great. The party is called 3,2,1 go! at club home. It' s also nice when you dress up for a party and you' re not the only one or at least people notice it. I love my dirty rock n roll/punk hangouts but sometimes I just need a bit of glamour. Upcoming weekend I am going to Lowlands festival and I will not have to work for 5 days in a row! Too bad I will probably be drained comming back I'll leave you with this song by Grimes.
