Canibalistic/ Flinstonetastic!

Last Friday was Sleazefest ( the best party of the year) and it was (again) a whole lotta fun! Only left a bit earlier than planned but that happens when there's too much beer in your bag...

I was very happy with my outfit and apparently so were others because people kept saying to me how gorgeous I looked and my hair. One girl also took a lot of pictures while we were dancing, I only have no idea where I can find them.

This was my outfit:

As you can see I have a bone in my hair. I've been looking for this bone for quite a while and I finally found it, at the party shop!
I also found this super cute mini skeletons at the party shop and made them into earrings. I'm also wearing those in the picture but they're too small to really see them.

Also started on sewing a dress and I think I'm actually going to finish it and also keep making things. Don't know where this creativity is coming from but it feel very good to finally DO SOMETHING! Ha!

Life's a ball!

Sometimes everything just feels right.
Probably this feeling will pass in a few minutes but right now listening to Feist's Limit To Your Love in my selfmade dress and a small hat with feathers on my head thinking of the past couple of days, everything feels right.

My better half is completely back with me and it feels better than ever.
He took me out to dinner Sunday as a delayed birthday present and yesterday we went to his grandparents house.
They have a house next to a lake, so I had my first swim this year.

Writing is not really working right now, have to practice more. I can't describe the feeling that I'm feeling right now without sounding like a total softie-droolball that's going to make you feel sick.

Going to the Aprilfest tonight and I want to share my hairdo and outfit with you because I feel like a doll!

Almost done

Sot, the dress where I've been working on in sewing class is almost done.
I will post a better picture when it's all done and my hair is nice and all.

Sewing Lessons

Thursday I'm starting with sewing lessons, I'm going to learn how to make clothes, something I wanted to do for a long time.
The sewing lessons are based on the tv show Mad Men, wich is perfect because I love 50's/60's style. Another nice thing about it is that I'm doing it together with my good friend Lot. I'm really excited.
Today I went to the market to buy fabric for my first dress, this is what I bought:

Those together is going to turn in this dress:

The plaid is going to be the main fabric and the red is for the 'sleaves' and details.

Tomorrow I have my first school exam, for german. I hate it, I am scared.
