I got my mum her Iphone, so I have a device that can make photo' s again. This means I can post on Lookbook again and the thing is also very handy to keep up more with my blog.

The wall I am standing in front of is the wall of the house I am staying right now.

I am staying at my good friend Layla for 1 or 2 moths because finding a house in Amsterdam is IMPOSSIBLE.

So it' s quite a strange time for me now, I am sort of homeless. All my stuff (and clothes!!!) is in a rented storage and I am sleeping in a room with no door.

I am not complaining because I think it' s really nice of Layla to let me stay with her and it's also a lot of fun to have dinner together and drink tea but it' s not permanent.

I really have to find something soon, but right now I feel like it' s not happening.

BUT I am not the most positive person in the world so maybe I'm over exaggerating the whole situation, I hope.

Anyways all my non existing readers, I will be bothering you again A LOT!

Monday Dinner at mom's

Every Monday evening I have dinner at my mom's house. I usually also sleep there but tonight I plan on facing the cold and go home. There are a couple things we always do when I stay here like gossip, doing nails, eat candy, watch TV (which almost always ends up with me falling a sleep on the couch) and teasing my cats. That is also a big plus about my mom's house, my cats. I also cuddle them a lot but playing with them and teasing them is also lots of fun. This evening we held a photo session with the cats but this is the only picture the cat didn't succeed in escaping or blurring the picture.

Sick

Took these pictures when I was ill, so I look horrible. But I kind of like it. I remembered that I stuffed my head with flowers and it actually made me feel better.
Also this coat made me feel better because it was so big and warm.
 So I have a big tip for everyone who is ill at the moment; put on clothes that make you feel faboulus and that are comfy at the same time because you'll feel and look like shit anyways.

So this girl´s name is Eva. She´s obviously hella cool cause her face got written swag all over it (see bottom picture). Other things that make her cool is that it looks like she dresses as she don´t give a fuck what everybody thinks AND she´s a dutchie, like me.

Norelle from outer space... I crown her queen of plastic nasty nineties style. Which I love! Also I really like her hair colour.

Mayu, great look. I really like people are still rocking tropicial prints with it beeing october and all..But ofcourse some people live in places that are NOT holland and are warm and sunny all year.

I love everything about this look by Kerry. Everything is matching so perfectly and it´s super classy and cute at the same time! Not to speek of the beehive, which always has a special place in my heart. Well enough slippery slimey words! Next time I´ll probably post a rant about how much something sucks again. No worries! X

This day sucked because I missed Berlin immidiatly.
Walking around in shiny red leggings seemed like the only way to feel better.

Berlin

Hello!
Haven't been bloggin' for a while, AGAIN. But now I finally have internet at home!

My lovely Boris and I just got back from Berlin and I'm not going to tell you everything we did because that is quite boring for me to do.
I am going to tell you that we went to museums (something I never did before when I was there) and to the Zoo. My favorite was the Ramones museum and the Zoo.
I also bought shoes and some clothes which I'm prettttyyy pleased with.
We drank cocktails, had lovely food (we ate Sudanese!) and went out Berlin style (kinda, because we danced all night until it was light the real Berlin style is like...3 nights I think).
We also went to Kopi and a feminist band show (!?!?!?!?)

Boris had a friend from Iowa living there so we hung out with her a bit at Tiki Bar and at Tiergarten.
It was nice to meet her.
She was very different but I think we got a long quite well.

I also finally learned to read books, and now I'm hooked!

Long story short; had a lot of new experiences and saw new things but also went back to a lot of things we liked from the previous times we were there.

Berlin has a great vibe and Boris and I would really want to live there in a year or so.
I do like Amsterdam but I like that Berlin is bigger and has bit more of an edge to it, which maybe fits me more.
We'll see...it's always different when you're on vacation and the grass is always greener somewhere else.

60's fever and new things!

I've seen A Single Man and now I and totally into 60's style again. The movie is great for many reasons but a big reason is the styling. So I've been walking around with outrageous Twiggy like make up and trying to get my hair as high as I can. The last thing kind of failed, used to be really good at it but it didn't really work.

Today I also went to the Primark with my mom. Yes 'going to the Primark' is a 'thing' because we don't have one in Amsterdam but there is one in Zaandam. Zaandam is a small city close to Amsterdam. Everything about it is horrible. The way they talk over there, the way the city looks, the way the people look (everybody seems to be ugly...kind of strange). BUT they have Primark. So me and my mom were going by train and I thought I was stressy and panicy (not a word) with public transport..my mom is 10 times worse. Anyways, we got there, spent 3 hours(!!!!????) inside and got home safely. This is what I got for 25 euro's(!!!!????)

Also finally got to get something from my Inglot giftcard I got for my birthday from my lovely colleagues.

The things you see in the blurry picture are highlighter and blush. Right now I am kind of wainting for my lover to come home from band practice. Cleaned my creepers. They were super dirty from a concert but I think I got them quite clean. They're still drying though. I ALMOST FORGET TO TELL THAT BORIS AND I BOOKED A TRIP TO BERLIN!!! We are going in June and I love it. I've been missing that city!!! Good night people or good morning to people who live in different time zone's and stuff! xxx

Sick day

Although I had a wonderful day Sunday (went inside an art academy for the first time), in the evening I was not feeling well at all. Still wasn't feeling well the next morning so I took a day off. At one point of the day I had to get some breakfast and had to go outside. I decided to dress up a bit and it made me feel a thousand times better. This is what I was wearing:

You can see from my face that it wasn't the best day for me. I really liked it and think it's a must see if you like movies that are a bit sad and bizarre. X

I´ve missed you more

Last post was the 20th of Febuary and I hate it!
I really liked beeing a ´fashion blogger´ kinda thingy. It was really a great hobby.

I´m really trying to bring it back to life.
I now have a sort of computer (netbook with half of the screen working) so that´s a start.

For the first time in aaaageesss I posted something on donlookbook.

A lot has happened, not much had changed.

I could tell you all about my amazing birthday party, but I think I won´t.

One thing I am definitly excited about is that I´m going to a soccer game this sunday.
I never cared to much about soccer until I realised it´s about beeing proud of where you´re from.
I HATE the Netherlands but I LOVE Amsterdam! So now I am supporting AJAX.
It´s the firt time I´m going to a match and I´m going hardcore because a colegue of mine (Joy) has been in the F side (the group of die hard hooligans of Ajax) for 8 years so she can take people and she´s taking me!

Still listening to Lana del Rey all the time, still doesn´t bore me.

This how my face is looking right now and I´m wearing a vintage 50/60´s flowered top, pencil skirt and glitter shoes by dune, but the last 2 things you can´t see.
Looking a bit tired. I haven´t been having the healthiest lifestyle lately.

Outfit post yaay!

Had dinner at my grandparents today, it was really nice. Had not seen them for a while so we had a lot to talk about and cath up about.

They had some pictures of me, I didn't even know because I was always was in a hurry and then they insisted to take a picture. So then I forgot.

Now I'm quite glad about it because they also took some cute pictures of Boris and me.

So this is one of those photo's.

I should really start up my lookbook again. Been whining about this past three posts?

P.S: My aunt called my dalmatian coat arrived! Can't wait to pick it up!

Hi, this is my tired face!

Oh oh slept so good! Warm bed that is not damp and no waking up by terrible drum n bass music.
Loved Lowlands but sleeping in my own bed again was very nice.

Two things I want to say.

1. Going to cut off my hair very very very soon.
2. Maybe found a new guitarist! Finally. Probably practicing with her somewhere next week, see what she' s made of. Really hope shes's the one and we can finally PLAY again dayum. This way I'll never be the superstar I' m meant to be.

Me caught stealing shirt from boyfriend

Today I got to wear the Misfits shirt I gave my boyfriend for his birthday. Actually don' t want to give it back, but ok.

Picked up some photo' s I had developed 1000 days ago. Photo' s from my vacation in Denmark, wich was in June...lazy ass mofo I am.
Also wanted to trim my shaved hair parts thingies at Lot' s but she didn' t pick up the phone and didn' t answer the doorbell so I went to Gini.
Been hanging there all day instead of packing for Lowlands, but I' m a quick packer so that we' ll be ok.

Really looking forward to Lowlands!!!

Park outift

Wearing a lot of colour, something I don' t do very often. Also put three flowers together in my hair wich made a sort of monster flower. Really like the look of it.
Hung out in the park all day/evening. It was hot. Not more to say.

Homesick Shomesick

Yesterday we decided we had to get out of the house sometime so we did.
We went to Waterlooplein (a big market with a lot of second hand stuff). I bought a dress and a skirt both for 1 euro! So I think I' m going there to look more often for clothes because its cheap and if you look hard you can fin some really good stuff. Also the looking for clothes is quite fun, digging in big bundles of clothes, you have to be patient though.

My hairdye is washing out quite nice. Salmonisch. I hope it fades to a pinkish blond, but I think it will fade to an orangy blonde. Oh well..

I also bought this amazins hideous case for my phone. Now I' m a real blackberry ho.
And yes I need to do my nails hehe.



Boris and I are having a lot of fun staying at home though. Hihi.

Canibalistic/ Flinstonetastic!

Last Friday was Sleazefest ( the best party of the year) and it was (again) a whole lotta fun! Only left a bit earlier than planned but that happens when there's too much beer in your bag...

I was very happy with my outfit and apparently so were others because people kept saying to me how gorgeous I looked and my hair. One girl also took a lot of pictures while we were dancing, I only have no idea where I can find them.

As you can see I have a bone in my hair. I've been looking for this bone for quite a while and I finally found it, at the party shop!
I also found this super cute mini skeletons at the party shop and made them into earrings. I'm also wearing those in the picture but they're too small to really see them.

Also started on sewing a dress and I think I'm actually going to finish it and also keep making things. Don't know where this creativity is coming from but it feel very good to finally DO SOMETHING! Ha!

Day at the beach

Yesterday was the hottest day was the hottest day of the year.
I just rolled out of bed when I saw I had a missed call from Lot so I called her back and she asked me to go to Bakkum (the beach with a campsite where her dad had a vacation hut thingy).
We had a lovely day at the beach and I slept over. We even drank cola wine at the beach!

We also both discovered we have grown over the whole 'I have an issue with walking around in bikini' thing. How self accepting we are, maybe Lady Gaga has learned us something! I doubt it.
